10pm

That moment at 10pm when you hear a sound from your kid's room. You think, "They have been in bed for hours, what's going on?!" only to find your daughter covered, head to toe, in marker…along with her floor and half her furniture. 

I couldn't help but laugh (then run for the camera) when I found Isla covered in marker. It wasn't just her face, but her arms, legs and belly too. After I realized she had also colored all over the floor and furniture, I didn't care what time it was, I made her clean it up. Thankfully, it easily came off of everything. Girlfriend got off easy. She didn't have to scrub or anything, just wipe it all with a wet rag. 

Oh Isla. You definitely beat to your own drum. You have such a zest for life. And you enjoy writing on yourself more than anyone I have ever come across…does this mean tattoos are in your future?!  Keep on enjoying life. But do feel free to fall asleep AT bedtime from time to time.
